With over 30 years of experience as an architect, Richard originally founded Richard Griffin Architects (RGA) in 1998 on Turner Street in Salem, Richard began offering architectural design services for local residents and small business owners. In 2016 Richard merged his practice to form DSA. Richard had previously worked for other architects such as HMFH and D.F. Trees Associates. Richard earned a M. Arch., at Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Ecology, College of the Atlantic. He also studied at Washington University, St. Louis and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Richard is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Boston Society of Architects (BSA). Richard is a Registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, License #7814
