Derby Square Architects collaborated with Groom Construction on this important renovation of a community-based outpatient health clinic for the U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) located at 201 Main Street in Gloucester, MA. The new 5,000 SF facility houses a community-based outpatient clinic providing health services and assistance to veterans in need. The existing space was expanded at the rear of the building to create the new VA Health Clinic. Uniquely resting on top of the existing Walgreens Pharmacy, the property presented challenges as most of the work was located above the Pharmacy Department, which operates 24/7. DSA was honored to work with the VA Administration and proud to design for such deserving clients.
